I met and fell in love with my ex-boyfriend. When we first started we lived in the same area...then I had to move 1500 miles away. We dated and had a long distance relationship for 5 years.
It helps to live in the same area. You do have to be careful about the freaks. When you meet - meet in a public place until you feel like this is something that you are comfortable with. Trust your instincts.
We broke up because there was too much distance between us and could only see each other every 3-4 months.
Go for it. It's better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all.

To me it is very hard to fall in love over the net because there are so many variables and unknowns. Now I'm not saying that it is impossible to find true love over the net but in my opinion I would not invest a lot in someone who I can't see eye to eye or verify the information that they are feeding me.

I talked to someone for months online and then finally met her and we dated for 2 years. She was my first true love. We broke up though in November because she cheated on me while away at college.
So I think you can fall in love with someone from the net, but fall in love with someone on net. I don't know.

I once fell in love with a Dark Elf Necromancer who was only accesible through the Net. He would summon my game character, through death, into some very bad places and watch me trick my way out. Fun stuff for an Enchanter.

Yes I SORT of did.. I haven't met him.. but he's been one of the most special and sweet men in my life.. and one day soon I hope to meet him! I've been talking to him online for a long time.. and I haven't met him because I've been too nervous and scared that if I did, I would ruin things! I'm sure when I finally do suck it up and meet him he will be everything I think he is and fall in love with him!

yes i fell in love before i met him and when i did meet him i loved him more than ever, normally I'm a very quiet Pierson and when i first met him i couldn't look at him an i was shaking but as soon an he was cuddling me and i was listening to his voice i was felt so comfortable we've been together 4 years and a bit, living together, madly in love
