Sure! Flying is Fun!! Heres 2 things you might want.
**CHEWING GUM! when you take off and when your landing. Your ears will pop because of the differance in elevation but if you have gum your fine
**A pillow and small throw blanket... they have small pillows and blankets but their not very comfy!! It comforts you...
and if you can... get an isle seat or window seat... sometimes the window scares people but thats for you to decide.. and the isle is nice when you need something or need to go to the bathroom.. you have to ask people to move if your in the middle!!
Thats it... but if you need more you can email me! brynnlee923@aim.com..
hope that helps!

I would have to say the cons of flying on a plane end when you get on the plane. If you can make it through the airport without a strip search then you are doing good.
The pros would be that they are safer than going by car and they are much faster. It is a whole lot less draining to fly somewhere than it is to drive somewhere. You can spend more of your time doing whatever it is you are going to do. I would suggest carrying a book and maybe something to listen to other than what the airline provides.
Ultimately most of the cons to flying are found on the ground at the airports.

The first time fo me was scary but exciting,I had a window seat by the wing (didnt know they opened) and I paniced and started yelling the wing is broke...........My husband put his hand over my mouth and explained its supposed to do that, I was so embarrsed...... Next time I flew I took a half of valium and tried to sleep, which pases the time so you have less time to worry.... Now well, I stay up all night the nite before an early flight get alittle nervous but focus on the great time Iam gonna have when I get there and try to fall a sleep, and pray I dont have to use the bathroom, I hate that....... Good luck........

There are very few times that a plane just drops out of the sky. Most dangerous times are take offs and landings. So many things can go wrong at those times. When things do go wrong, you are sitting in a metal container that will be burning and you are strapped in. Hope your seat belt doesn't jam. You may get out and you may not get out.

Air travel is MUCH safer than travel by car. There's nothing to be scared of. Generally going for your first time is fun!
I used to really love flying. I still do like it but it's more mundane now.
Just be sure not to open the window while in flight.

Yeah. My dad travels a LOT so he gets frequent flyer miles and that usually pays for our plane tickets on family trips. He also gets that kinda thing for some hotels, so our hotel is "free" when we travel. =)

I know the feeling, I just had my first flight a week ago. It is not as scary as you think though! If you have a weak stomach maybe bring anti-nausea medicine though. It is really fun (except for luggage claim) and Delta gives you free snacks! I just swallow when my ears pop, but chewing gum is a good idea.

more people get struck by lighting than die in a plane crash. Most who do die in a plane crash are in 3rd world countries flying in a dodgy airline. Flying is perfectly safe
