Ask his doctor or pharmacist if he can take acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ask his doctor for a prescription pain medication that doesn't contain an NSAID.

Also if he comes off Warfarin for 2 weeks, he can take the NSAIDS and then go back on the Warfarin. Ask your doctor about this.

For pain? Pretty much just Tylenol. As far as a prescription, I did well with Darvocet and Vicodin for chronic pain. Also, oddly, an anti-depressant helped me with my chronic pain! If he's dealing with alot (and being on warfarin, I imagine that's the case!) an anti depressant could help too!

Be very careful. I know two people who died of hemorrhage. Check out holistic MD or naturopath for info.
