De la Hoya and Mayweather?

Evs, I think its the total opposite of what you said. De La Hoya has the edge in power. But i think Floyd will beat him whether they go toe to toe or box. But if they box Floyd's gonna make DLH look stupid. Floyd will box circles around DLH, using his unmatchable hand speed to hit DLH with punches at angles and keeping him off balance all night long eventually leading to a knockdown. After seeing the mat 2 or 3 times i see a stoppage between 7-10. Floyd's defense is next to impossible to break. De La Hoya is at the end of his rope and better take the $25 million he's getting for this fight and retire somewhere with a waterfront view.

If De La Hoya comes in to this fight and goes toe to toe then I think that Mayweather will win by either late stoppage or decision. If he boxes him then he will get a UD. Hopefully he does box him as I for one would love to see Mayweathers big mouth shut. One thing for sure is that he has not fought anybody as good as Oscar. All of the big name fighters that Mayweather has fought have all been past their best, so calling himself the best p4p fighter out there is yet to be seen imo.

I am going with the "Golden Boy" Oscar De la Hoya. He has already proven himself as a great smart fighter. He is also stronger and has more weight behind his punches. All he has to do is cut the ring off and be aggressive towards Mayweather. After being punched and chased by Oscar for five rounds, Mayweather's speed will decrease.

Too close to call. It depends on what type of gameplan De La Hoya uses in the fight.

De La Hoya because this isn't just a boxer but someone who is actually a bit educated more intelegent then your average boxer who don't know any better then getting their head smacked. De la Hoya is Different he will definetly WIN!!!

mayweather has the speed,defence,skills, all better then de la hoya, if it goes to decision mayweather will win it by 3 points, oscar can only win by a ko and he sure has a boxers chance of doing it, the key to beating pretty gurl floyed is by putting presure and oscar dont naturaly do that. this should be a good fight. oscar ko10
