I need help with MAC updates PLEASE!?

I have a MAC 10.2.8 and I need the next update for it. I got a video ipod but I can't put songs or anything on it until I get an update for my computer. Please help. I have tried EVERYTHING! =[

Click the apple in the upper left, go to software update.

You probably want to purchase the 10.4 upgrade. Well worth it, IMHO.
