first, get him to go somewhere with MUTUAL friends
its a good tactic- we started going out the next day! ^_^

No harm. You could ask him if he is busy on Saturday and if not would he like to do something with you. It doesn't have to be a definite date thing just a going out. Maybe lunch in town or something

Nopes,I wouldnt ask him but expect him to ask me out.If he truely loves you he will be the first to ask you.If you do ask him,you will spoil all that fun of dating.So cross those fingers until he asks you out.

ask him to the movies with a group of friends. that way, it seems a little more casual, in case he doesnt like you that way.
