Did you go through your doctor to go off Zoloft?It's very dangerous to just go off cold turkey.I was on Zoloft before and it made me psycho.I've been on Paxil for 9 yrs now and it has saved my life.I suffer panic attacks and severe anxiety.I wish you luck.Maybe you will consider trying Paxil.

What you need to do is notify the doc that put you on the Z. Does the doc know you're trying to get off of it? Maybe you should try weaning yourself off of the zoloft. Try half the dose or half the pill for a few days, then half of the remaining dose for a few days. And so on and so on.
It's not a good idea to abruptly STOP taking those kinds of medications. Your doctor will tell you that. Meanwhile, let him know you want something else, and see what he prescribes for you.

You are not supposed to stop taking antidepressants suddenly.
Go to the doctor and maybe they can wean you off of Z, and put you on something that works better.

It's not dope, it's medication. You're supposed to see a doctor before you go off it, and go off it gradually by having the dosage cut over time.
