extraordinarily dangerous or trouble-making inmates?

"They have Ignacio in a 6 foot by 12 foot cell," Loya told WND in a telephone interview from El Paso. "There are no bars, just a steel door, and no window. He has no television and nothing to do. He is fed in his cell and let out only for one hour after 23 hours in the cell. He is then taken to a room with a television where he is allowed to watch the TV for an hour before he is returned to solitary confinement." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53897

I'm very sure they will say its for his own protection. He is at risk because hes a Border Patrol Agent. But that doesn't explain the shackles .Its a travesty of our court system. The prosecutor must have taken some heavy bribes from the drug cartels that "own" El Paso. The agents were doing the job they were hired to do.Protect our borders from drug smugglers .They should have shot to kill and not just wounded him.
The trial transcripts read like a fairy tale. Its simply a miscarriage of Justice.I am ashamed of El Paso and I'm ashamed of our president for not stopping this farce.
FULL PARDON FOR BOTH THE VICTIMS OF THIS INJUSTICE.

because of the danger from other inmates. Not JUST of the sort wishfully dreamed up by the guy a few posts up.

It is for their protection.

What Bush needs to do is pardon them. They don't have to be rehired by the Border Patrol, which is enough punishment for falsifying a report, in my opinion. However, regardless of how he feels about these guys the President has to know this is impacting morale at the border patrol.

There is no proof that is an accurate story! NONE! Usually if a person is being held away from the general population it is probably for a reason, usually their lives are in danger!

As far as the shackles, he is in Texas! What do you expect!

Finally, they were convicted of illegally using their firearms, shooting a person against state law! No Border cop is going to jail for no reason, no matter how the media you use chooses to portray their convictions! Cops usually get away with murdering people!

Because they violated the first rule of the New World Order.

How else can you explain why Bush nor the Congress have done anything to secure the border to the south.

We are being taken for all we are worth.

You had better invest your $$$ in the Amero.

Because they abused the power intrusted to them, it is not the wild west anymore and we can't just shoot people coming across the border, drug smuggler or not. They have rules to follow and thats why they are in jail. Do i think its right? No, I personally think there needs to be more vigilante justice along the border, the immmigrants may pick my bananas but they trash my homeland in the process.

sounds messed up. I think Feds should be aloud to knock the crap out of illegals if they need too. I think it's sad the prosecutor is believing an illegal drugs dealer.

since he is a cop he would be at risk in the general population. it is for his protection. if he bribes the guards he can get a TV or whatever he wants. that is how our prisons work.
