Yes and yes. The first one I experienced was in 1954. The second one was approximately nine months later when I was born.

OK ... you may get a lot of answers to this but consider what I have to say before you dismiss it.

Modern day miracles do not exist. There are a lot of phonies out there that may say otherwise. Some people claim to have witnessed a miracle but it just may be an event that they couldn't easily explain.

Miracles were present during the life of Jesus for a very specific reason ... to prove he was the Christ. Let's say you are living during the days of Jesus. Would you believe he is God's son without proof? Probably not. So what could he do to prove to you he was? Miracles of course. Through miracles Jesus was able to do anything from changing water to wine, to raising the dead. And what purpose did these miracles have? Simply to prove he was the son of God.

Now then, what purpose did the apostles have with miracles? After Jesus died and arose from the dead, the apostles went out to all the world to teach the gospel of Christ. At this time, much like today, there were many many different beliefs and many different false gods. To prove Jesus was the son of God and that Jehovah is the only God, the apostles and a few disciples were given the power of miracles not only for proof of Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit but also to establish the church.

Now, in our time, the church has been established, God's existence and his son's existence have been proven. What purpose would there be for a miracle.

Being raised from the dead would truly be a miracle but why would you do so if that person is in paradise. Even Christ didn't raise a lost soul.

Healing the sick. The new testaments says let the elders of the church pray for the sick. If their sickness got worse and they died what would it matter since they were saved.

With every modern day miracle there has been undenyable proof that it was not a miracle. In fact, many so called ''healers'' are just magicians and/or frauds. Let a man walk up to me with no arms and in a matter of a second he has arms, then i will believe in miracles.

Some call birth a miracle. If that is true then every pig that had a litter of piglets would be considered a miracle. It is the same process, procreation.

Miracles in this day and age do not exist because there is simply no reason for them to exist.

PROOF. that's all i ask for. Some say you have to have faith for a miracle to take place. if that's true, Where was the faith of Lazurus. He had been dead for three days and the bible says he stank. There is no faith in a dead body yet a miracle was performed.

PROOF. That's all I ask for.

Yes I do believe in miracles.
My miracle is accepting Jesus into my life 5 years ago. It was a truly magnificent miracle. Praise God each day and have faith in Him always. God Bless.

I can say without a doubt my greatest miracle was accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior. All other miracles pale to that.

I believe in serendipity and synchronicity. I believe that events unfold that appear miraculous because it may be something we really really want. But that doesn't make them miracles.

So I guess I don't believe in them.
