if you guys are really close get her a picture of the both of you and frame it in a really nice frame! also at 16-- i loved the mall so gift certificates to her fav store is always good-- thats the best way to go unless you know what kind of clothes she likes-- also you can take her to lunch or dinner for her bday ! have fun!

I'm turning 16 soon, so I may be able to help you out. Get her something engraved with her name, maybe a nice necklace that has her name or inital in it.
also, spa days are fun.
