My sister is letting her curly hair grow. It used to be boy-short and now it's about shoulder length. She didn't do much for it, though she did wear headbands to tame it a little during the more akward lengths. It's a good look!

I have short curly hair myself and I love it. It is so easy to manage, I just wash it and mouse it and go. Sometimes I wear a head band , or I will part it on the side and put a clip in it. I get a lot of compliments on it and also if you show that you are confident and love it, everyone else will. Hope this helps, until it grows to your desired length.

Well first of all you need a good stylist.I had super short curly hair two yrs ago now my hair is to my waist and loving it.Try using pre-natal vitamins i know it might sound a little odd but i truly believe that is what did it for me.My Best friend and i cut our hair at the same time hers is past her shoulder, and like i said mine is to my waist, give it a try it is not like its going to get any shorter right? You need good hair products such as Biolage and stay away from coloring your hair for a while, cut your ends every 2-3 mos. That worked for me.

Hairspray and blowdrying is known to damage and cause breakage in hair, thus slowing you hairs growing process. Try to avoid these. Also depending on how short your hair is, having your hair braided closley to your scalp will definetely speed up the process. Cutting your hair every month will also help. When your hair goes without being cut the growth slows down. So when it is cut it triggers your hair to grow. So the smallest trim is suggested esp. if your hair is already short. Goodluck. I am also growing my hair out too.

- take prental hair vitamins, they're healthy for u and extemely healthy for ur unborn baby [if u have one] but if u dont, its oaky to take them. Uthey're good for the body and helps hair growth as well as nails too.
- Was hair every other day
- avoid heat like blow-dryers [when u wash ur hair, leave it to dry on it's own, no blow-dryer]. And flat ironers.
- Drinks 2-3 bottles of water everyday and eat healthy and ur hair shoudl grow about 2 inches long in two 1/2 months :)

Patience, hats, patience, hot iron, patience, accesories and last but not least...patience. It takes about a year to have something you can work with. Everytime I get a bad cut (my hair is curly too) I have to patiently wait and get really creative. Good luck.
