i hear pregnant people get back pain but i havent gained anything but a few pounds due to the fact im only 6 1/2 weeks.

When sleeping on your back keep a pillow under your knees, if you are on your side keep a pillow between your knees. Also get a cervical pillow. All of this will help keep your spine in line while you are sleeping. Applying heat to the area might also help. If this doesn't help you should see your doctor as you may have a pulled muscle or a pinched nerve.

It is difficult to formulate an answer with the limited amount of information you have provided. Does your back hurt during the day, or when you move or bend? If it does not then I would be thinking perhaps kidney stone, or infection. But if it was an infection it would hurt most of the time and you likely would be running a fever. If it only hurts at night, you may want to look to the support of your matteress, if it is old and sagging in the middle this can contribute to back pain. The fact that it is horrible means that you may want to get checked out.

Sounds like a pulled muscle, put some camphor chapstick on the pain and fill an old pepsi bottle with hot water to sooth ya.

It very well could be that you have a disk prob. I would suggest going to a chiropractor as soon as possible. It could be pinching a nerve.
