If a Muslim man marries a Christian girl, what is the wedding like? Islamic ceremony and Christian reception?

you should talk to him and make sure it is 50&50 half chris. half muslim.believe me the dresses they use are really nice so you may consider getting those dresses for some of the guest . you both love each other don't listen to the people that try to make you feel bad. i am in your situation(i'm chris. and he is muslim).

I think it depends. My mom is christian and my dad is muslim. I think they had a church wedding..only because my grandpa would beat my mom is she didnt. But my dad stayed muslim and mom stayed christian. They reception was a normal reception at a hall. So basically religion wasn't really included in their reception. Then again...it depends on the girl and the guy or the family.

You are such a nice person. For us, the Christians & jews & Muslims are followers of the Holy books. So, it is not our mistake today if any of us could be wrong. The point is, be good to humankind. Btw, some Muslims are being harsh to its own fellow Muslims who have different interpretations of verses. This happens all the time within the Islamic Sects, country, & community.

I am muslim (Moroccan)..my wife is christian (British)..we had a fantastic wedding party in Morocco..lasted 3 days. the rest... we don't care.

Does not mater as long as there is plenty of booze at the reception, and maybe some just prior to the ceremony.

The two religions are so disparate in their beliefs, that it would be a hard one to do. Maybe a big family meal...that's at least pretty universal.

Well you could go a "Holy Crusades" motif. You know, a whole bunch of dead bodies and blood everywhere but at the end of the day, no real resolution. Why not follow history?

If no one can talk you out of this......Go to interfaith officiants. They have officiants that do ALL kinds of marriages.
