Although I do think that you are a little young to be working out that much, I don't really suggest Creatine all that much. Creatine fills your muscles with water molecules, something that is unnatural. I recommend going to GNC and checking out NO2. It's a hemodilator that works by increasing blood flow to muscles, allowing the fibers to grow richly and naturally, not fill them with water. Plus there are no side effects whatsoever. You'll rarely be sore the day after a workout, and you'll start noticing a difference really quickly. In 2 months I went from 140 to 160 in my weight. I was benching 180 when I started on it and a little over 2 months later am up to 255 both regular and incline.

Alright, here's what you've got to do... drink a protein shake about an hour before you're going to lift. The protein will help your muscles heal quicker while retaining water and mass. Also, if you're training for strength, do shorter reps of more weight. As a freshman in high school, I was 6' and weighed 200 lbs. I did just what I said above and graduation, I was a solid 260 lbs. The drawbacks of creatine are that you retain a lot more water than you should and if you ever miss a couple workouts for whatever reason, all of that inflated "muscle" will turn to flab pretty quick. Your body can do more with the protein than it can with creatine.

Creatine is good, it increases the amount of energy in your body for short period efforts like weights. It makes cells absorb more water so you look more bulky... and as you can lift heavier weights you make your muscles grow more. So far nobody has come with the idea that Creatine is bad (they are still investigating).... you just need to drink lots of water, or you could even faint or die, as lots of water is being taken by the cells, and you body can't regulate temperature properly. But yeah, creatine is good! Maybe you should stay onl7y on protein shakes.... ask a doctor or your coach....
14??? Man! You are too young for me, it would be illegal!

Creatine is one of the best supplements out there. However, people react differently to it. I had no problems with it but my friend thought he was having a heart attack when he took it. The most important thing is to drink plenty of water. If you don't you run the risk of dehydrating which can lead to fainting or really bad cramps. Don't follow the dosage on the back of the bottle, I would start with a serving before a workout and then one after. BTW, 2.5 hours for a workout seems really long, remember you build muscle in the recovery stage. Take less breaks and shorten your workout.

You lose energy at the same time as sitting round, respiration. And, because lifting is an workout and respiration isn't, you're certainly burning energy. So, definite. You do lose energy at the same time as lifting heavy weights.
