I tried to have my back popped. The doctor only prescribes muscle relaxers which dont work. I know its a pinched nerve but is there a way I can fix this.

don't worry you probably don't have to see a doctor!

the pain that you are feeling is from pinching on the siatic nerve which runs down your body. usually the pinching is caused by tight muscles, and appropriate stretching can be a difference.

one muscle in particular that causes pinching of the siatic nerve is the periformis muscle, which you can stretch by:

laying on your back... bringing your right knee to your chest while your left leg is bent with foot flat on the floor, and then placing the ankle of the right leg across the knee of the left leg. then pull the left leg toward your body. this is stretching the glutes by bringing the right leg toward the body as well. now, gently push on the knee of the right leg as you are pulling the left leg toward your chest. you should feel a stretch right across the glutes- that is the periformis muscle. it may feel uncomfortable, but hold the stretch for at leat 30 seconds.

try doing this a few times a day after any type of activity, even walking. and never stretch cold muscles! good luck!

That's the sciatic nerve. I've had problems with it for years. A chiropractor can help. Then if you ever do get to the point where it feels better, start strengthening all your back musles with an exercise program like Pilates. These days when we all spend so much time sitting, those muscles get really weak and the back slips around a lot. I know it's been a lifesaver for me....
In the meantime, ibuprofen can help with the inflamation, but I've never had anything take the pain away entirely.

First u need to try ice (keep a bottle of frozen water in your freezer) Ice works in 10 min...no more pain.
Try ice 20 min and then heat--fill drink bottle with hot water.
Use magnets off the refrigerator on the pains.
elevate leg on edge of sofa.
try to rub pain with castor oil or olive oil

If your doctor says that you are ok for physical activity, then one suggestion is to strengthen your core (abs, and lower back). Even just strengthening your abs can help decrease lower back pain a lot.

Go to a chiropractor who will adjust your sacrum and/or ilium. Also, look up sciatica stretches - they should help at least a little.
