Mirroring some one elses body-language, facial expressions, have you ever noticed yourself doing this? i have, i have found that if i'm talking to some one in the office and they raise their eye brows when expressing some thing i do to, it is all very subtle, and i'm trained in psychology, and counselling, so i watch and observe, and analyze people, and i am aware of how i come across also, but the question is..... do you mirror another person?...and do you even realize you're doing it?

I find myself talking like my two best girlfriends sometimes, but they do the same thing with me. I believe I have found myself, but I am a creature of habit and find myself catching onto things they say or expressions they have. Even my dog does that though, when she is with other dogs she will pick up a habit or two for a bit. It is all natural I believe!

Yes, we all do in varying degrees. It is a known sales technique to nod at someone during the pitch; you get someone's head in a positive nod and agreeing, you know pretty darn sure you are going to make the sale.

Ya know mimicing what the other person is doing makes them feel more relax around you...mostly subconscious activity....but for someone who knows about this...it might be intentional.
