It is so hard to work out at home because we naturally associate home with comfort. An easy way to make a transformation is to buy a Workout DVD but they will get old fast. There are also great video pod casts for free on itunes. Most things like this are designed for women and their target areas -butt, gut, and thighs.

You may have heard this before, but it's true.... spot exercise alone won't get rid of fat, and lovehandles are basically fat. Start a good cardio program (walking 1/2 hr a day is a good place to start) Then add toning exercises. Pilates is great for that area, because it strengthens and tones the whole torso. At the same time, you need to be cutting a few calories in your diet and eating lots of fruits, vegies, lean meat. That should do it!

The loss of fat in particular "zones" of the body is a myth. We lose fat over a total body area. Exercise should be combined with a healthy diet that manages portion size. You can, however, tone your abdomin muscles...That always looks good. One of the best that I've found for this is "crunches" done on an exercise ball. Other than this, one of the best things you can do is to walk. This should be a brisk walk for at least 45 minutes, at least every-other day...
