Make sure they have some what of the same interests and passions as you. If it works out and you guys had kids or something and discovered you couldn't stand each other that would be a shame. Think of things you like to do, for example, if it were me I would talk about animals or nature or spirituality and see their reactions and then delve deeper if it looked promising. REMEMBER TO BE YOURSELF, ask if they like things that you like, etc.
