If you are the legal owner of the firearms and over 18 years old and not a convicted felon, you may sell your rifles to whomever you wish.

It is advisable to write up a quick 'bill of sale' including your name and address, buyers name and address, model and serial number of the gun and date. Both parties sign and keep a copy and you are good to go.

Determine the value of the rifle and put an add in your newspaper. If you take it to a dealer or pawn, they will offer you about half it's value, as they need to make money reselling it.

If you post a question here listing the model and maker and any details on condition, options, scopes, etc. myself and a few other regulars will give you a ballpark value.
