I was just watching the Tyra show and she had all sorta people feeling better about themselves because they just admitted that they were gay. Well isn't that great!!! But yet there is not even a remote thought of God and his words saying how wrong that is. Perhaps I am just ranting and I thought I would bring it to you all but I guess my question is, will we ever actually give the credit God deserves for everything that is? Or will we as people ever realize that His words are true and perfect?!! I know from being a christian that not all will be in heaven but, come on people!!! I hate the thought that people in the world are just making satan so happy and my God is saddened by their actions. May God bless us all.

I guess my point is that people don't think about God and the fact that people are not born gay. God did not create people in this way. If perhaps this great America of ours is 85% christians then why so much rebellion against God's word? If we all read the bible and knew the bible then these things can not happen. I know one thing for sure though, Jesus will sort all this out in due time.

It was a pretty simple question originally. Just to clear things up, ALL people judge other people, ALL people sin and I am more than aware of that. Yes it is true..I TO AM A SINNER!!! Thankfully Christ came along and invited me into HIs heaven. I think there are people of all sorts of religions that will be in heaven, not to think they all will just the ones that have accepted Christ. If a person is gay that is fine by me, I can not just them not to be, I know that!! But if the world was as Godly as they say they are I believe some of this would be different. God is in control. The rest is up to HIm and Him alone. Thank you for the good discussion.

How would any God or Gods be relevant to a person admitting on national TV that they are gay? I watched an episode of the Simpsons the other night where Homer had a beer, but he never once mentioned any theological basis for his alcohol consumption... nor was there a disclaimer by MADD about drunk driving...

There have been many, many scientific studies as to why people are homosexual. Science has proven, to me at least, that people ARE in fact born with their sexual preferences intact.
Does anyone question why they were born a woman or a man?
Why believe and put your faith in a book in the first place? I could very easily take the Lord of the Rings trilogy and make it into a religion.
Why not clean up your own house before judging others? Are you perfect? Will you ever be in a position to judge others the way your god supposedly does?
What happened to 1 Corinthians chapter 13? Why not quote that instead of the ones that judge people?

I'm glad that Tyra gave these people an opportunity to just open up and come out of the closet. Under most circumstances, that's VERY difficult in a society filled with homophobic bigots like you.

People are not free to be who they really are because of people like you ranting about the true words of the Bible telling them that they are condemned to hell. Maybe homosexuality if a sin in YOUR religion, but not everyone follows the Bible. Why should Tyra mention the Bible on a public show. It would be different if a preacher were telling people that they should fele better about coming out of the closet! Then you would have something to complain about!

Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone is a Christian?
Has it occurred to you that you keep very few of the laws mentioned in Leviticus, the same ones sitting side-by-side with admonitions about homosexuality?
Are you very careful no one in you household sits in the same spot as a menstruating woman has?
How about all those people who get divorced for reasons not sanctioned in the bible, then remarry. That's adultery.
Don't hear you complaining about that too.
How about "Judge not least ye be judged" or "Ye who are without sin cast the first stone". How do you answer Saint Peter when you're at the pearly gates when he asked why you were trying to do god's job of judging people's sins, rather than just concerning yourself with your own?
Isn't selective biblical rationalization just great!

#1. Admit your sin. Where they go from there is up to them.If they cannot #2 Repent then they cannot #3 Believe and #4 Receive. God does everything in his own time. Telling the truth is never sin. God is present in the smallest things.

The people were happy because it's a pain in the butt living a lie all your life based on other people foisting their views of religion and "morality" on everyone at every chance they get. I know it just bugs you because you have NO control over them and can't tell them what to do. I'm sure you enjoy making people squirm under your sense of ego and "superiority", when will you ever learn that HATE of any sort is more harmful than their sexuality is to your poor ego. May you get over yourself soon.

Good for them. As for making satan so happy and your God sad, if your god gets sad by people feeling better about themselves then I say f**k him.

It ISN'T wrong and you Christians need to get that through you thick skulls. If its not ok to sell your daughters into slavery anymore even though the bible supports it, why is it ok to discriminate and promote hatred and intollerance against the homosexual population?

You must realize, that the Lord almighty is far above these things. Though he cares - he has known it to be as it is, be confident in the fact that no matter what people's sexual preferences are, God has a plan for them all. To not acknowledge that is to doubt His power, for he is the all-knowing Lord. Trust in him, trust in his plan and have faith.
