When cleaning hard surfaces Bleach in a 1 to 5 ratio of water will kill most staph bacteria.
Some doctors recommend that if you have someone in the household with MRSA, you should use Bleach, and Steam, or Hot water. Clean the surface with boiling water or steam, then spray with 5 to 1 ratio of bleach mixture. The bleach mixture should air dry on any hard surface.
