I KNOW because He's very real in my life. I couldn't live without Him. I've had 4 knee surgeries and up until about 2 years ago, I was in constant, all the time, everyday pain. In a Bible Study I was going to, I was healed of the pain. Now, I can't even tell when it's raining without looking outside. I used to walk out the door and cold was like sharp knives driven into the knees. For the past year and a half I've been unemployeed. I've been looking for a permant job. At the moment, I do temp work so I have something to do, but God has provided when I've had a need...I got a temp job and had money when my tire needed to be replaced. Someone out of the blue, paid for my school books (studying to be a licensed minister) when I didn't have the money. I also spent 8 1/2 years in a Christian Drama minsitry and lived on a shoestring budget and was on the road, staying in people's homes. I've been in Ohio, Maryland & Delaware, NorthCarolina, Alaska and the Yukon, Southern Ontario, Scotland, England, Wales, Germany (for summer & January training times), Nigeria, Southern Texas, Kansas and Nebraska. In all that time only 3 times did I ever sleep in the van. And those where all cross country trips. I sometimes didn't know where I was staying until late in the evening, but God ALWAYS provided.

Speaking broadly: I know that I live in the presence of an all-encompassing mystery which is the ground of being and possibility. I think neither I nor anyone else knows an awful lot about it -- maybe after we've evolved for a few million more years we'll have a better idea. Certainly traditional religions don't have a bead on it. But I know it's something -- I know it's not just atoms and the void. Everything I experience fairly screams about a meaning I can't fathom.

How can you prove that he doesn't exist ?
and also
How can you prove that he exists ?
The fact that the World exists and that you are living right now seems to be an evidence for lot of people here.
I would say that you are here because , you were born because your mother and father made you, then cells divided, it grew and ... eventually you are here.
Believers will have their views on the topic , and non believers will have another View ( Scientific One )

I know because it is simply so. I also believe that God is neither male or female and God is known by all the names for him/her in the world. My belief is neo-classic Gnostic and I appreciate the fact that this religion shows that there is one God, but he/she is known by different names.

I just know.
He shows me his glory and beauty in all of his creation...
The colors in the sunrise or sunset. The way waves roll in and crash against the beach. The way the mountain peaks rise to touch the sky. The way snow gently falls and each flake is different. The way a baby laughs...or the way a man and woman fall in love.
He has also blessed my life beyond belief. He has saved my butt on more than one occasion...he reveals himself to me...
There's too much to write here...he has changed my life. I now have a peace and comfort that I had not know before my relationship with Jesus.

Sometimes you just know. It isn't even about faith... I doubt some things about my religion, but since I have become a Christian, I haven't even for a moment doubted that God exists.

No one can know for sure. The existence of God can neither be proven nor disproven.

Because we are human beings. Not only are we human, but we are also beings. To be a being is to know what you are. We are able to think, reason, and act. Our conscience bears witness that we are created.
