I'm scanning photos onto "C" drive into "my pictures" folder. I can rename them but when I try to save (copy) them to the CD-R the whole thing freezes up and I have to Ctrl/Alt/Del to clear it. ANy suggestions as to why this is happening?

You cant save any data on CD with save as or copy paste way. Do your drive support CD-RW? If yes you may BURN any file to CD-R. Thats the only way...

there's a great shortcut. to repeat a catalogue of things, spotlight the 1st one.
