Okay. i have all the symptoms of strep throat. it even LOOKS like strep throat(I looked up pictures online). the strep test came back negative.. but thay also got the results back in like 3 minutes... I asked him what was wrong with me and he said i jes had a sore throat.. but my tonsils are swollen and my lymph nodes are swollen. and then he asked if ive ever had mono before and i said no. and he said i could have mono. but i dont drink after anybody and ive only kissed one person in the last 8 months.. i dont have time to date lol i have a 6 month old :) He gave me a shot in my butt and some antibiotic pills. i am jes wondering... what else could i have? and if it is mono, how long will i be sick? i never get sick. How contagious am i? Should i be worried?

My fever got up to 103. and id take dayquil every 4 hours and my fever would only get down to like 101.5 - my sinuses are draining now. and my ears are popping too!!

If it is mono, you are extremely contagious, you can get mono from water fountains, airborne germs, anything that someones mouth could come near or in contact with.
The duration of your sickness depends on how well you take your pills, and how up to snuff your immune system is, but it wont last forever...i promise
Theres no need to worry its only going to make you sicker.... just keep with the pills he gave you, drink lots and lots of water (it helps flush your system) and get plenty of rest (which i understand is very hard with a little one, but do the best you can)

Dr. did a quick strep test. Since it came back negative he should have followed up with the traditional version to be sure. What else you may have depends on so many things. Do you have a fever? If no fever it could just be post-nasal drip from a cold. If you do have a fever it could be strep or thrush. If you don't feel better soon you should seek a 2nd opinion.

Could just be your teeth messin with u.
Eat some horseradish sauce to clear throat and gargle
with applecider vinegar.
Put a hot water bottle on throat with some vicks on ya.
(fill an empty pepsi bottle with hot water)

it sounds like you have shingle or tonsillitis it dose the things you are talking about go to the walk in clinic and tell them you have shingles i had them 3 times once every time christmas came, that is what it sounds like you have.
