you dont have to go somewhere for it to be romantic! but if this is ur girl ur wanting to spoil, why not book a nice hotel for two nights, and make the room gorgeous, get candles and flowers, and put rose petals everywhere, put candles all round the bath, get sent sticks etc, even buy her a sexy lil no. for her to put on, have her favourite music playing, get the champaigne flowing and how about some strawberries... theres nothing more romantic than a guy who goes full out with effort to seduce ur girl no matter how long uve been together, as long as shes with u, its going be romantic for her.

I just returned from a trip to England/Scotland/Ireland recently, actually. And from an outside perspective, I think that going to London would be very romantic. I love it there.. I love everything about it. Granted, I loved Ireland and Scotland as well.. but there is definitely something special about London. Walking around Oxford Circus at night time.. stopping in at a cafe for a drink and a chat.. Sitting at the top of the London Eye... Cuddling on the tube.. I guarantee you will do very well in London! There is so much to see and do there!! Good luck!

I don't think you neccesarily have to go anywhere. A room filled with candles and flowers would suffice, with a chocolate fondue, or some other delectable foods. I am assuming you want to be romantic with someone! If you are alone, then by all means go somewhere, London sounds good

forget all the big gestures girls like sensitive romance.
for example my ideal valentines day would be to go somewhere high up in the countryside somewhere really quiet and so you can see the view and horizon, set out a candlelit picnic with wine/champagne and sit close together and watch the sunset!!

as previous answers,it's not the location that matters,as long as the gesture comes from yr heart.Dublin tho nice "foreign" place but easy to get to cosmapolitan with excellent nightlife, best cut flowers i ever seen.
