Sorry to hear about whats going on with you. I think u can go to your local Social Security Office and see what they tell you .You can also call them. There is an 800 #, just look it up on the web. They can further assist u in what to do in your case.

God Bless.

I am not sure what the laws in your state are.Start with Social Security.Be perpared they will put you through the ringer and if your state is anything like GA your disability will be denied the first time . Locate a lawyer who specializes in disability claims. They usually do not charge you up front then collect a "portion of the award if you recieve monetary compensation. Your physcian should be able to supply all the documentation.Usually with a lawers help you will be awarded your disability.Stay positive and be persistent.Beware of Dr.s and judges for SS they are tough.Best of luck.

The first step will be to call The Social Security Administration 1-800-772-1213. They will send all the paperwork to your house, start as soon as possible as this procedure does take time. If they do deny your disability do not be discouraged. You can appeal.

Social security has options for cancer patients. I went through uterine and cervical cancer 2 years ago. You can apply on-line at their website. If you get turned down initially go in and talk to someone, and maybe even a lawyer. Also most welfare systems will help out cancer patients who can not work. They will also help with medical bills.
Good luck and you are in my prayers.
