It won't go green. Loreal is good. If you want the color to stay longer avoid using clear shampoos, they can run the color right out of your hair.

Hello, I'm a guy and I always do my fiances hair. Actually I just put in highlights 3 days ago and it always comes out next to perfect if not perfect. I have even done her friends hair and her sisters hair and no one has ever complained.
what you should do though is buy one of the kits that come with a CAP, so you can pull the hair through the holes with the tool that comes with it. But you need someone to do this for you. Its very simple to do, just ask a friend to do it for you. It will take them about 20 Min's tops to do it.
You are right, why spend/waste the money if you don't have too.
I hope this helped you out

Don't worry, they are very simple to do if you follow the directions. I've done it lots of times. You might want to ask a friend over to do the back for you if it is your first time. I say give it a try (it won't turn green) I agree I would never pay what a hairdresser would charge for something I can do myself for $10 - $15
Good Luck

We always want to save money but with this I would be very careful. I myself have a sister who is a hairdresser and she tells me all the time that you get what you pay for..... I have tried it and never am satisfied with the results and usually end up having to go to the salon to get it fixed! Good Luck

i have been coloring my personal hair for years, and my women folk associates typically supplement the colour and question me the thanks to do it. i'm a organic "dirty blonde" and use Clairol professional #12B with #20 Developer from the sweetness provide keep. often times I purely contact up and use a small volume, and different cases I do precisely about the finished head (including conditioner to the ends to ward off over-processing.) you should attempt it your self through buying a small bottle of developer. both oz.. Clairol colour is about $4 and small developer s/b round $5 or so. i do not understand the precise fee because i purchase the great length, which lasts invariably. attempt an exceedingly small pattern on an below layer and time it heavily. in case you want it, do the finished head. i'd commence through utilising a colour which boosts your man or woman previously I make any drastic ameliorations. good success.

Easy. Buy the kit and dye a small piece of hair to see how it comes out.

You can try it, but you may not be happy with the results as different types of lighteners may interact badly wth each other...

yes, you don't need to do it professionally, if you want to cover up any highlights just make sure the color is dark enough to cover everthing
