I have very dry, brittle hair. To keep it looking and feeling great I warm olive oil and apply it generously to my hair, wrap it in a towel for an hour or so then wash it out. If I need an extra boost I'll use my hairdryer on low, warm heat while it's wrapped in a towel or I'll put my hair in a braid and keep it in over night. Also, thin your shampoo with a little water then add an egg yolk and shake to mix. The yolk has protien that's great for your hair. Make sure you put your shampoo in the fridge so the egg doesn't spoil.

K- Pak Conditioner by Joico. It can be used as a daily conditioner or left in for 5-10 min.s for deep conditioning.

Jojoba oil is good too. You can use just tiny bit each day to tame frizzies. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic (won't cause zits) and has no scent.

www.matrix.com has a section of hairstyles if you're looking for new haircuts to manage as the perm grows out.
