I want to make chicken soup. I need 12 cups of chicken broth and I have 6 cans of broth each 14.5 oz size cans. How many ounces are in 12 cups? I'm terrible at math!

1 cup = 8 oz
12 cups = 96oz
6 x 14.5 = 87oz

My calculations your 9 oz short but it should be enough liquid unless you have to have a specific amount when you're finished. You could just add 9 oz of water if you really need that exact amount, personally I think it will be fine without the extra liquid.

4 1/2 cups dry measure not liquid for 12 ounces of Cool Whip. 16 ounce of Cool Whip is 6 cups. Cool whip has 3 cups in a 8 ounce container.

14.5 x 6 = 87
You are approximately one can short you could use another cup of water and one chicken boullion soup if you need it.
