Cryotherapy
How it is done
Cryotherapy is usually done at your health professional's office, a clinic, or a hospital as an outpatient procedure (you do not have to spend a night in the hospital).
You will need to take off your clothes below the waist and drape a paper or cloth covering around your waist. You will then lie on your back on an examination table with your feet raised and supported by footrests (stirrups). Your health professional will insert an instrument with curved blades (speculum) into your vagina. The speculum gently spreads apart the vaginal walls, allowing the inside of the vagina and the cervix to be examined. Your doctor will put a small probe into the vagina and place it onto the area of abnormal cells.
Medication to numb the cervix (cervical block) often is not needed because cryotherapy usually does not cause much pain, just mild cramping and sometimes a sensation of warmth in the rest of the body.
What To Expect After Surgery
Most women are able to return to their normal activity level the day after the cryotherapy procedure.
After cryotherapy
A watery vaginal discharge will occur for about 2 to 3 weeks.
Sanitary napkins should be used instead of tampons for 2 to 3 weeks.
Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 2 to 3 weeks.
Douching should not be done for 2 to 3 weeks.

I'm not sure the name of the one where they freeze the surface of your cervix. I've had 2 seperate procedures done to remove pre-cancerous cells. The first one was done by laser where I went into the hospital and was put under. This may be the one you are talking about. I was in and out of the hospital the same day and had a family member take care of me to make sure I was alright.
The second procedure I had done is called a LEEP procedure. This is done in the doctor's office. I'll try not to be too graphic, but basically they numb your cervix and scrape the cells off. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would as I was very apprehensive. If you're having this one done, I suggest asking the doctor for some pills to relax you so you aren't so tense. I know it can be scary, but you'll be fine. Good luck!

Cancer is caused by poor nutrition (including oxygen) and stressors. Stressors can be environmental, like heavy metals, food additives or pollution, or emotional or job stress.
Our bodies have 60 trillion--yes, trillion--cells, and there are always some mutating into cancer cells, but a healthy immune system kills them before they have a chance to get a foothold in the body.
It takes a LONG time, usually, or an exrtaordinary amount of stressors, to degrade the immune system to the point where it won't do its job, but once cancer has formed, it can spread rapidly.
THIS IS IMPORTANT! There are ways to BEAT cancer that the AMA is keeping from the American public, that are being used in Europe and around the world. Here is some information that is getting hard to find--"The Cure for All Cancers", ISBN 0963632825; "A Cancer Therapy", ISBN 0882681052; "Hydrogen Peroxide--Medical Miracle", ISBN 1885236077; "The Natural Cure for Cancer--Germanium", ISBN 0533071410; and "Killing Cancer", ISBN 0705000966.
Type 'used books' into your browser and find a good site, then type in the ISBN numbers and get some great help cheap.
I know of people whose cancer has 'spontaneously remitted' (WENT AWAY for no known reason) after they went on a program of herbs and nutrition.
The American Medical Association and the pharmaceutical companies control medical law in this country, and they are in it for the money, and don't care about individuals. You and your family must look out for yourselves to stand a chance of being healthy.
This is not a joke. Look into it. Best of luck

Cryo therapy
Take 800mg of advil before you go in for the procedure!!! (unless you are allergic to it or for some other reason you are not allowed it)
It is not a fun procedure. But you will survive.
Go today and buy some mini pads or panty liners. You will have drainage for up to 30day. This is normal.
