My Fiance asked for his ring back yesterday. He said he was joking and gave it back to me, but the reason he gave for asking for it back, is because I remind him of his ex wife? The reason we got in a fight was because I let him win a game of darts, because he always loses and pouts when he doesn't win. I guess I reminded him of his ex wife because I didn't want to, you know....Last night. I guess I always thought I have a right to not do that every once and a while. I guess it is just frustrating, do you think this is a sign of what is to come?

If that is a question you are asking yourself, then the answer is yes. If you are doubting your decision you must have just cause. God made a lot of me, the right one is still out there. Never settle.

Yes. It's not a good thing that you remind him of his ex-wife. Maybe he still has some issues he needs to work on before you go further. And you don't want a guy that doesn't give you some slack once in awhile when you're really tired--you probably would have understood if the situation had been reversed. So tell him that you're not his ex-wife.....and find out the reasons why that marriage didn't work out.

If he pout's everytime he loses then he is a piece of crap. If he gets mad at you when you don't you know what with him, then thats his problem. Don't give in just to please him. Personally I would get rid of him. And if he gave you a ring and took it back then that shows me hes not really wanting to be with you. If he doesn't want to marry you because you remind him of his ex wife then thats his problem. There is someone out there better than him for you.

Sounds like a fella that cannot get a grip on reality. One cannot be the best at everything there is to do in the world, so he should worry less about winning the games of darts with you, enjoying the time with you instead. Of course, a real adult accepts that one's partner is not always in the mood to be intimate when you are - one has to learn how to get one' partner in that mood. It does not bode well for the long term...

Just be honest and beat his butt at darts next time. If he whines and cries that is something you may want to be aware of before you marry him. What's the hurry? Asking for the ring back is not a very good joke either. These are signs you may want to pay attention to.

He sounds very controlling. Also, he needs to get over his ex wife. You will be living in her shadow, compared to her, weighed, measured, and likely found wanting no matter how hard you try.

When I was married, I dealt with the fact that sometimes my wife wasn't in the mood. Find someone less selfish. You deserve a good man. Good luck.

It certainly would raise a number of red flags. Marriages fail for a number of reasons, but the number one reason is that we make poor choices in who we marry. I think you may be doing one now.
