Why not just make 'em fish....

For some reason it just looks a lot like convergent evolution to me.

But what do I know? I'm just an atheist.

Seems like a few of our American educated friends have never heard of whales, dolphins or penguins....

Seems like an intelligent designer would give creatures that live _IN THE SEA_ the ability to live in the sea without having to surface for air.

"Maybe I'm just showing my ignorance, but what mammals and birds have fins?"

Dolphins, whales, porpoises, orcas, manatees or (to a lesser extent in that they are called flippers in these animals, not fins) seals, sealions, walruses or penguins?

"Why did God make humans with arms instead of fins?"

Not a good rebutal considering we don't live in the sea and never have whereas the mammals/birds that do have fins/flippers DO live in the sea or spend a considerable amount of time in it.

i'm going to on no account end to be surprised at how deftly creationists can avert such concise questions as yours.. no longer ONE has actual spoke back the question in any respect, well-known. they can't answer your question because of the fact in the event that they have been in a position, they does no longer believe what they do.. I even have tried lots of circumstances to get creationists to answer those varieties of questions although this is like asking somebody who's illiterate to study you a e book.. impossible. you ought to how possible study first, and with creationists they might desire to earnings the thank you to question yet they are in a position to't because of the fact they have been indoctrinated so thoroughly they have ceased to question something.. Your question is large although this is going to pass ordinarily unanswered by ability of your objective industry, instead people who have already got puzzled and reached a similar end will purely commiserate with you.. a clever guy as quickly as reported "the only solid is understanding, the only evil is lack of understanding" this type of straightforward reality it particularly is displayed on a daily basis in this dialogue board.. the respond to your question is extremely straightforward too.. there is no reason at involved with a writer to layout an animal with vestigal limbs that lives interior the sea.. the only clarification in any respect is that the animal gradually moved from a land based living to an aquatic living and adapted to that environment, laying off this is inefficent strolling limbs for useful swimming appendages.. there is no different a danger clarification... the only reconcilliation is to believe a god created existence and then enable it evolve, or believe no being became in touch and evolution did all of it..

Mammals: Assuming you are referring to such things as whales and dolphins, probably so they could move through the water.

As far as birds, I did not know they had fins. (Unless one considers the wings of penguins as "fins." Then, see above.)

Why did he intelligently design people with the optic nerve in the wrong place, so that we have blind spots?

Just trying to keep us on our toes?

Why would he design it so that viruses and bacteria can "microevolve", but we can't "macroevolve" to continue our species?

I think that with all the multitude of different designs of creatures all thriving on the Earth is more in favor of Intelligent Desgin than Evolution, it would seem to me that if Evolution was the case there wouldnt be all that many different kinds.
