I've looked at this CD player in Halfords. Nothing on the web about Sendai though - I've tried searching. I know nothing about the brand. Do you own one? bought one? are they any good?

I'd pay the extra few quid for a better brand. Never heard of Sendai before... on Google it seems to be a Japanese city!

These are very cheap and cheerful i think. If you want a reasonably priced cd player I would go for a JVC.
