Minneapolis to Chicago is a very competitive air route. All of the carriers will match each others fares to the penny so it really does not matter which airline you choose.
Typically Northwest to Midway will have low fares as well as Saturday travel to either O'Hare or Midway.

Try the different travel sites. I have had most luck with Oribitz and Yahoo Travel. A lot of times they will have specific deals for those bigger airports. Go to deals on Yahoo Travel. Also Sherman's Travel has deals!

Currently, it's USAirways at $128.37 roundtrip before taxes and fees are added. Book direct from airline's website to avoid the booking fees added by Travelocity, Orbitz, and other re-sellers.

Too bad JetBlue doesn't have a "hub" at either O'Hare or Midway(both excellent Chicago airports!), or I'd recommend it...
Try this famous site...and look for the "roamer" who thinks that "The Amazing Race" will keep going...and going...and going!
