Because some people on Answers operate with the maturity of a two year old - sometimes they will do exactly the opposite of what you've asked them to do.
I take serious posts seriously, because life can be really difficult sometimes. And I have respect for the person asking for serious answers, because I believe they deserve that, even though we're "strangers". I've seen people post on Answers who sounded pretty suicidal and when they specifically asked for serious answers, some people have responded by encouraging them to commit suicide.
For the most part, I love the time I spend on Answers. Unfortunately, that also involves a certain degree of weeding through the crap, because some people who post here are obviously very immature and/or have no respect for the opinions of others.

What have been the questions you posted that received childish answers?
Remember that YR is exposed to all kind of people. It is supposed to be a free forum to express yourself. Some of them take seriously the act of sharing their knowledge with the rest of the community while others just see it as a kind of game for fun.
Try to take the best you get in your answers and ignore the ones that are just rubbish.

because of the fact maximum do no longer understand the question. Why could everyone ask that severe of a query on right here anyhow? Why could you assume a great and truthful question? those that troll the internet seeking to put in their enter are oftentimes uneducated, fat, Slobby pigs with out trouble-free experience. they can't circulate themselves out of their mom and dad living house, no longer to point be efficient contributors of society. So returned, My question is.. Why could you assume a solid answer from some goober in this internet site?

I think because people like to have fun. Although I stay away from childish answers, I sometimes try and be witty which might sound childish. Sorry if I offended you, you, you stupid poopy head.

Because you ask a question that can either be answered in 3 words or needs a book. The problem of evil is centuries old and has an extensive library, it cannot be addressed sensibly on Yahoo answers.

Because the "childish answers" to your "serious questions" are written by people who have not been brainwashed into believeing in primitive concepts, so there is nothing left for them to do except joke about it.

Not all answer with childish answers. But often when they do it is because they have no idea of the true answer, so they ridicule.
