I recently met my long lost friend. She just broke up with her
boyfriend as soon as I walked into the picture. And she
even changed her website profile, to single status. The exact
same day, I sent her an email, expressing myself to her.
She got awat from her" psycho" boyfriend, and is ready to dive
into another relationship. What do you think ? Us meeting is
destiny, or was she waitng for me ? Best answer wins.

I only let her knew, that I still cared about
her. And hoped that we could date
one day, and soon.

Maybe it's destiny, but maybe not too. The only way to tell is give it some time. You say she is a friend, so keep her as a friend for now. Let her know that you are really interested in her as a person and once she's ready to date you would like to see where it goes. But above all else, take it slow, be a friend and see where time will take it.

It was coincidence.
or
This is a sign from above - you must marry her and raise children and get a mortgage and live into old age together - so you best jump in really fast and start now! After all she is on the rebound and that kind of romance ALWAYS lasts (not).

Which sounds more logical to you?

This is not dejavu, just a normal thing.
You already made a mistake by expressing your feelings to her, that to in an email.
she is not looking for a relationship right now, she needs some relaxation.
Be normal.

Id b a bit wary ca it sounds like shes kinda using u to get out of her sh***y relationship and move on. Dont get me wrong she prob has a lot of feelings for u, but wud u want to get with sum1 so soon afta her breakin up with sum1? id wait a few weeks so shes not all reboundish and take things slow.If she really likes u shel wait.

it seems to me you both have unfinished business with each other , don't be over confident though because you have both changed with time .

i do know of a couple of childhood sweethearts who split when her parents moved her to another country , after 17 years she returned to her hometown and by chance met her ex , they were married 3 months later and have been for the past 10 years !

good luck

The fact she automatically changed her on-line status is creepy and reeks of desperation.
Destiny is not this cheesy so I say she was waiting for you, circling like a vulture.
