Well first realize that he likes you too and he is just as nervous as you and is probably torturing himself also wondering the same thing, how do I let her know that I like her without sounding stupid or embarassing myself? If you weren't worried about those things, you would just be straight forward and ask him out yourself and you wouldn't be asking for advice here, right? So you need to find strength in the idea that you are not alone and he is a fumbling nervous fool too just like all young girls and guys. You also need realize that guys are DENSE. I mean we're talking dumb as bricks here...you know how many times a girl has "dropped a hint" to me and I didn't even realize what the heck was going on? Not all guys are dense but for the most part, girls and guys speak a different language for example...A guys idea of a hint is something really slick and subtle like, "Hey, you're cute, want to go out this weekend and catch a movie?" Girls like to do very blunt and straight forward things like, "Brushing up against the guy and acting like it was an accident so the guy has no idea what the heck just happened" and other such easily spotted maneuvers. You see the problem? The point is, take a risk girl, if you like this guy than just let him know you want to go out just the two of you this weekend and do something....at night...just the two of you...if your wording is just right than you can tell him that you like him and want to go out without actually asking him out on a date. Do more bold things like when you're walking around and say you want to go look into a store grab his hand like it's no big deal at all and act like you really want to go look at something and just drag him by the hand into the store you are acting to be all excited about, just don't over do it and act stupid. When the night is over and he is dropping you off or however it works out, just tell him you had a lot of fun and give him a kiss on the cheek say goodnight and tell him to call you. Be very confident and when you do these things act totally natural even though you probably will be VERY nervous. Everything will be fine girl, have a great time!

Tell him how you feel and what you want. Ask him to go to a movie with you or out on a date and just start talking about how you feel.

Assuming he is not presently in a relationship, be direct, it's the 21st century.

Ask him what category he would put your relationship in and whether he would consider himself as being your boyfriend?!
