For a guy I'd say yeah you need to build some muscle. Go to the gum and find a personal trainer. You have an advantage because you are starting out on the thin side. All you've got to do is add muscle. Good luck!

a little bit under weight. It would be ideal for a guy ur age at 5 foot 6 to weigh around 135 lbs... At ur age, you should not really consider heavy weight training for ur own good. You should try body weight exercises like push ups, squats, pull ups, chin ups, sit ups, calf raises,,,,, three times a week. Eat 4-5 meals a day with lean red meat, low carbs, lots of veges..drink plenty of water throughout the day ( dont drink much right after meals ). You will be ready to hit the gym when u get 15 or 16...

Yes, But you are not bad. This is easy just lift weights use heavy so you only can do one set of 10 or 12.(max out) then allow that body part to heal for 2 full days before you go back to that muscle group. You will build muscle quickly.

Being 14 years old I wouldn't be concerned about it. However, if you are 18 and 5'6" at a 117lbs then thats a problem in my opinion. I would start living a healthy lifestyle NOW instead of later. Get involved in athletics, i.e., football, soccer, tennis, track, etc.

Your about ready to die, doesn't anyone ever feed you.
Go buy a hamburger and french fries. And a milk shake.
That ought to do it. I'm a girl but at 5'4" my perfect weight is anything under 140. When I hit that it is diet time.
My bones weigh more than 117.

Yes, that is very thin... I would say a more healthy weight would be about 140, but if you are really young, you could be okay for now.
