Many christians are in agreement with sermons against drinking, gambling, smoking, fornication, and other sins. However, will become silent or offended, when the sin of gluttony is discussed, and some, not all, will state: it's not as bad as other sins.
By earthly terms, gluttony(excessive overeating to the point of obesity and health problems) may not cause as many social problems as drinking too much, gambling addiction, etc. But in agreement with the Bible it IS a sin. This topic is especially avoided if the Pastor or person speaking God's Word is extremely obese. Why do you think many Christians avoid this topic?
Proverbs 23:20-21 Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags. Proverbs 28:7 He who keeps the law is a discerning son, but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father. Proverbs 23:2 put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony. Blessings, Miji

Also, God dislikes all sin, and though we are not perfect, we should try to avoid all sin to the best of our ability. However, of the seven sins God HATES as mentioned in Proverbs 6:16-19, neither smoking, drinking, gambling ect are mentioned. So why is gluttony considered a lesser sin?

That's true, Gluttony can mean too much of anything, but gluttony in terms of overeating is also specifically mentioned in scripture, which is what my question focuses upon at this time. :)
