Okay my best friend has liked this guy for a few months now but, nothing has ever happened with them. They're only friends. Then last night I was talking on the phone with him and he told me likes me. I like him too. And we really wanna date but, neither of us can do that to her. Any ideas?

If she likes him then she is gonna be hurt and do u really wanna lose ur best friend over a guy on the hand u should talk to her tell her how you's feel about each other if she's a good friend then she'll step aside but assure her that u wont do anything with him unless she is ok wit it.

well, first off you need to talk to your girl about it. she is your BEST friend, and she'll be there in the end. Put yourself in her situation...would you want her dating a guy you were interested in for a few months? Then, you need to ask yourself if dating this guy is really worth risking your friendship! MAJOR IMPORTANCE...TALK TO YOUR FRIEND BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! Don't go dating him behind her back, or anything like that because she may like him more than you think...and he might be telling her the same things he's telling you. Good Luck!

Just talk real talk with your best friend, and just ask her?? If she says no then hey be the good friend that you are and dont hook up even if you really do LOL.. I know that will be hard but if you guys are good friends like you say then would you rather loose that over a guy that might not even last????

Well talk to your friend. Hope she doesn't get mad. And if she's not comfortable with it then don't. Make a pack not to let a guy get between you guys. Respect each other. And if she brakes the pack she's not a friend. Unless she finds some way to make you forgive her. So just follow your heart. It'll tell you date him or don't. Remember though. A guy can never become between me and my friend. We respect your decision. Or let your friend have him. Because make your friend happy. At the same time make yourself happy.

Maybe the three of you should sit down and discuss this openly. Going behind her back could result in your friendship coming to an end if she found out. It's better to come from a friend than a stranger.

I did that for a friend and then she ended up dating my ex bf...the point is though, friends come and come and so do men... so do you like enough to throw the friendship away or to say no and save a friendship when either they go out or something that it may hurt you for a long time, and "if" they get married forever1

For starters it would be mean just to start a relationship because of the way your friend feels for this boy. You could talk to your friend and get her view and if she gives you the ok go for it. BUT if she is upset and it will effect your friendship then I wouldn't do it. Boys come and go but good friends are hard to find.

You should talk to your best friend about it. Start off telling her that you think he's hot too and jokingly ask about her intentions with him and say you'd like to go out with him sometime. Or you could find her another guy to get interested in to take her mind of the one you like.

I would talk to her and let her know the situation. Asking is polite. If she is a good friend...she might be a little taken aback at the fact that you two have been talking, but she should come around and understand...hopefully.

If she is your best freind you should tell her and realize that she likes him enough to pine after him for months now. I was dating a guy when I was in ninth grade and I thought I was in love he broke up with me after 6 months and broke my heart but a month later my best freind came up to me and told me she liked him and wanted to date him but needed me to okay it. I finally did but I was so heart broken to see him with her that I finally stopped hanging out with her.
