I bought a VHS video and did not realize it would be different coming from the United Kingdom. Does anybody know where I can have it transfered to an american VHS or DVD? It is very important to me. I asked this question before but the suggestions didn't work. I live in Georgia but can mail it somewhere else if needed. Thank you so much.

Well, you've got two questions there. Firstly, VHS. Take it to a video shop, somebody ought to have the equipment to exchange the PAL/NTSC formats. Or buy a dual format video (many video players already play both PAL and NTSC, though you might need to flick a switch).

Secondly, DVD. There is no format difference between US and UK. However, many DVDs - especially movies - contain a region encoding. In this case you should buy a multi-region DVD player (there are loads of these about as well).
