A lot of misspelling there brother. I'd recommend a little thing called spell check next time.

As a former soldier, I can recommend the following action:

1. Call your local Air Force recruiting office and they will hook you up. Listen to what they say BEFORE you call the Army. I was in the Army for eight years and I can tell you the Air Force is treated much better than the Army.

2. Call the Army recruiting office. They will literally run to your house with pamphlets and pictures for you to look at.

I enlisted when I was 16 and left for the Army when I graduated high school at 18. It's called DEP (Delayed Entry Program). Every branch has it. Whatever you do.... don't join the Marines. They get dumped on like you wouldn't believe.

Your question about being drafted? A draft is for war time only. You meant deployed... and you can't be. You have to finish high school or get a GED. They will not accept you without one or the other. If you chose to get your GED quickly then you could leave for Basic Training at 17 years old, but no sooner.

Good luck.

First off you have to be 17 with parental consent. Secondly you know why there are age limits so kids like you who do exercise sense are protected. Without huge school you'll never see a promotion, which is even more proof of immaturity because you'll say you do not care. Go to school wait a year figure out what you want to be then if you must go back. You want proof look at your English and spelling they'll laugh you out of the service, I know I have seen them do it. In the Corp they would physically beat your ***. Better listen!

One would think that age would be a simple category. One is old enough, or too old, right? Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work that way. By federal law (10 U.S.C., 510), the minimum age for enlistment in the United States Military is 17 (with parental consent) and the maximum age is 35. This is to ensure than anyone who enlists on active duty can be eligible for retirement (20 years of service) at the mandatory age of 55 (60 in some cases). However, DOD policy allows the individual services to specify the maximum age of enlistment based upon their own unique requirements. God Bless You and Our Southern People.

The correct answer has been stated, 17 with parental consent as a senior in high school, on tract to graduate and placed on the delayed enlistment program, 17 with parental consent with diploma or GED, other than that your out of luck.

1st off you need to be a high school graduate they don't like drop outs and with your spelling they may not take you at all. As far as age goes your stuck the minimum age is 17. They will want a birth certificate to prove your age as well as your mothers permission. To get such a form go to your local recruiter and he will have one for you. You might want to join a ROTC program this will help you advance after boot camp. It would also keep you occupied while you got your diploma.

At the very least you must have your High school diploma or GED. They will not enlist you without one or the other. The youngest they will take you into bootcamp is 17. I know because I did the same thing. I finished high school when I was 17 and I had my my parents sign a waiver to allow me to go to bootcamp before I turned 18. You have to go to a recruiter and they will have the paperwork you need.

What you can do is go back to school and wait. You must be at least 17 with parental permission. In addition you need a GED or High School diploma. Judging by your ability in spelling, I would say that the additional time in school will benefit both you and the Army.

You are too young and you'll have to wait until
you are 17 and then your Mother can sign a consent form plus you have to have a High School Diploma or GED, be in perfect health
and physical shape.

You can go talk to the recruiters and probably go to their PT meetings and stuff so you learn more before you even go to basic. You'll have to get your diploma first and then go to basic training. If you join the Army, I think most of the time you can go the summer before your *senior* year of high school and then finish MOS school after you graduate. My friend did that.

You have to be 17. You also need to have a diploma/ged. National Guard and reserve will let you go to basic training before your senior year in high school and ait after you graduate. you might want to consider doing that before jumping into active duty to see if you like it

WTF do you want to do that at 16 for? learn to live a little before you don't have the chance..the military is a great place to start a career and to get a good start on your own...but you are too young to be thinking like that, you need to finish school and be a kid for a while
