Nausea

After weeks of repetitive behavior, like school, your body's biochemical processes establish a circadian rhythm, designed to maximize efficiency based on those regular events, like eating breakfast. Your stomach, expecting food for breakfast, began releasing acid to digest breakfast according to the normal time you eat breakfast. This acid, having nothing to digest, irritates the lining of your stomach, approximating the feelings of nausea associated with having eaten food that the body would rather expectorate. You need to neutralize the acid, and your stomach will calm.

Pizza is a poor first choice of food because it is very difficult to digest and exascerbates the acid effect in your stomach (due to the marinara sauce). To help calm your stomach, I recommend applesauce, the pectin it contains having a soothing effect on muscle convulsions. The more complex the foods (unlike the bread products you have thus far consumed), the greater amount of acid will be required to digest them, thus abbrogating the effect of the acid on your now largely empty stomach.

I think your body's rebelling at eating pizza on an empty stomach. It's just a reaction to your unusual schedule and meal. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I hope you feel better soon. If you feel that there is reason for extra concern, see a doctor.

hard to say-could be that something in the pizza or cake just didn't agree with your stomach or could be a virus coming on.

try drinking sprite,7-up, or ginger ale to help settle your stomach. if you have saltines in the house-eat a few of those.

go easy on what you eat for the rest of the day-nothing too heavy, sugary, or overly spicy.

sucking on peppermint candies can help too. drink plenty of fluids to help reduce the excess acid in your stomach.

Clear sodas usually help. You could also try something like Peptobismal.
