I believe you're asking for direct links to where you can download these two software packages. Look in the Source List below. The first link (1) is for the Internet Explorer 7, and the second link (2) is for the Windows Media Player 11.

Just a quick note. If I were you, I would download and install them separately. You could do both at the same time at the Windows Update Center, unless you choose Custom instead of Express. But, these are both significant downloads and installs in their own rights, and I like doing the "biggies" individually. That way I can install them, reboot, defrag, configure, and then start on the next one.

Also, once you get your WMP-11 installed, go into the Preferences (you'll have to tap your Alt key to show your Tools menu in this new WMP version, but it's there even though you can't see it), and specify WHICH file types you want this player to play. Then go into your REAL player and do the same, and also your QuickTime and do the same. Make sure none of them are designated to play the same file type, or else you'll get conflicts whenever you attempt to open a particular file. It's so important to do this right off the bat because so many people think their software is bunk, when in reality, they didn't take the time to designate file types in the Preferences of all their media players.

I hope this helps, and I know you're going to enjoy the upgrades. Oh yeah, one more important point: READ the System Requirements and make sure your PC has all it needs to run, not only these two, but all software upgrades! Good luck!

Do you mean where to download them? If so just go to the Microsoft website and get all available updates. Both will be included in the updates.
