Nothing can guarantee a long term relationship.
However, if your relationship is based on honesty, integrity, mutual respect, trust and open communication, as well as committment; then you stand a better chance of having a healthy realtionship, which leads to a lasting and long term relationship.

Relationships and guarentee should not be used in a sentence together.
To have a healthy relationship takes honesty, trust, respect, comminacation, and the willingness to accept changes as they come. To take the good times with the bad.

Good luck

Faithfulness
Trust
Respect
Honesty
Romance
There are no guarantees in life but if BOTH partners are faithful and honest to each other and they trust and respect each other and never let the romance die the relationship stands a very good chance of surviving.

honesty! If the other person can't take what you are saying it as waste of time. Plus you have to think of the other person as you best mate, not just a partner. If you have troubles then bring them to the surface instead of letting them slide
