I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is that he ignored me. So far, we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Whenever we pass each other it is awkward, though he doesn't seem to care.

girl, get over him. He is obviously a jerk who has nothing better to do than hurt people's feelings. He's obviously over it, and you should too. i know it's ackward and all, but you'll save yourself heartache and much stress if you just move on. besides, aren't you glad your not his g/f! you see how great of a b/f he is, trying to hook up with you and he's in a relationship!
hope all works out!

There's a saying..."don't dip your pen in the company inkwell". Translation - forming romantic relationships or acting on romantic feelings with a coworker (or boss) is a bad idea that can backfire in numerous ways.

He's already been jerking you around emotionally. You've already said some things you regret (in WRITING, no less - *shudder*). Let it go. Time to act professionally in the workplace. Treat him with the same polite courtesy you'd extend to any coworker, but keep the personal interactions to a minimum.

Good luck!
