Try giving him boiled rice and boiled ground chicken. Start off with small amounts, like 1/4C of each. If he's able to keep that down for 3 hours, try giving him another 1/4C of each. If that stays down for 3 hours, increase it to 1/2C each, for 3-4 hours, etc.

What vaccines did he get? If he only has one set of vaccines since he was born then yes it is possible he could have parvo but that is unlikely. Usually it effects dogs under a year of age. Ususally the signs of parvo are bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Was he dewormed when he got his shots. That could explain the skinniness. If he recieved the Bordetella vaccine that is for kennel cough that could cause him to cough some. Has he eaten anything like funiture or toys that could be stuck in his stomach. He kind of sounds like he has an obstruction. I would take him into the vet to see because if he does have an obstruction and it goes for too long he could kill off part of his intestines. If you have any more questions email me. good luck

He doesn't have parvo. Parvo lasts 3-7days and your dog would be extremely listless, will not eat and has foul bloody diarrhea.
It is hard to say why he is loosing weight is he still vomiting? It could be you are not feeding him enough. How much does he weigh and how much are you feeding. You didn't say what the antibiotics are for? Kennel Cough, if it is they can have a lingering cough for a time.

Sounds odd, but I would make him some hamburger and rice and blend it up in a blender and see if he can eat that and hold it down. Also, on the water, make sure it's room temp and not too cold. Is he kept in a kennel? It may just be kennel cough. If so, a vet can give him a shot for that.

Instead of calling a vet you need to take the dog for a second opinion. They won't know anything until they draw blood and find out what the dog has.

if you don't think that your vet is giving you very good advice, and this is what your gut instinct is telling you, then just load the dog up and take him to another vet for a second opinion and let them do tests and see if there is something wrong.

Yes, Parvovirus could kill him, I would have to listen to your vets though.
