I need to start eating more because I'm really thin. How can I force myself to eat more food? What do eating champions do to allow their bodies to consume so much?

I don't have an eating disorder. I normally eat constantly all day. Usually at least 6 times a day. But I never gain weight so I figured I should enlarge my portions. I was just wandering if there is a technique or anything to be able to eat more.

eat small amounts of high calorie, high protein foods, regularly. Instead of 3 large meals a day try 6 smaller, but high cal meals a day. High cal does not have to mean fatty and unhealthy.......PLENTY of carbohydrates at all meals (bread, pasta, potatoes etc) drink milk, and if you are very underweight try a drink supplement such as ensure, fortisip or something similar. Snack diring the day also....nuts are a good choice as they are full of good fats. good luck.

Do not force yourself into eating if you are thin and have small frame. Exercise, spend some time on fresh air, make your meals interesting by serving small amounts of fresh food on nicely decorated plates, eat every 3 hours small amounts ....

Snack/graze little and often, and try for good quality food stuff, ie some protein (cheese) with carbs (french bread/cheese bix) and some veg/fruit - celery with squeezy cheese is 1 daughter's favourite!
Good luck - however, don't worry too much as some people are just naturally skinny (I was till my thyroid packed in) unless you have been starving yourself, of course...

You should be hungry. You're twisting your mind to tell you that you don't need food. Obviously, you have an eating disorder and you need professional help. If you didn't, you would eat just fine.

You might have a medical problem that's causing lack of appetite. This could also be caused by a psychological problem, like depression. Perhaps a trip to the doctor is in order.

You need to have set times when you eat. Spread them out and eat a lot throughout the day. Maybe make alittle chart. good luck
