Good question. I was wondering that myself. If ya wanna do it, go for it. If you think you should wait, you'll know when the time is right

There are some really terrible answers to your question, and a few that are close.
No one has asked how old you are. There is a big difference between doing it if it feels right as a 14 year old, and doing it as a divorced 30 year old.
No matter how old you are, it will always feel right physically. We are made that way. There is a lot more to being human than physical urges though.
Consider all these before you decide: self esteem, disease, manipulation, honesty, personal moral code, personal faith, rebellion, independence, rebound, love, compassion, selflessness, generosity, discipline, pregnancy, abortion, education, pride, future, friendship, etc.
One of the best clues to your best answer is to ask yourself this question: Will I feel good about my decision tomorrow?
If you are undecided, don't do it. Wait. There is no hurry.

You know what?
TV, the movies, songs, and your friends would all have you believe that everyone is out there doing it like rabbits and that's simply not true.
Another thing they would have you believe is that it's okay to lose your virginity and in fact it's a good thing to do so, but again, that's not true.
Males do not change. When they decide to have a permanent relationship with a woman they want a woman who has not slept around. If you have, or if you have children out of wedlock, males do not respect you.
A male will say anything you want to hear if it means he can have sex with you. If you say no and he drops you he wasn't into you to begin with just looking for some tail.
With sexually transmitted disease out of control now and several of them cannot even be cured, it's far, far better to wait for the one who loves you enough that he wants all of you not just something to masturbate against.

The typical range is 1 hour to 5 years. It all depends on you and the other person. When you feel comfortable, not a minute sooner. If the other person can't respect that, then you have learned something very important.

It depends, do you want to be with them long term? Then wait a few weeks. Do you just want some fun? Maybe the 2nd or 3rd date.

Is this someone you love and deeply admire? Someone who sees his future when he looks at you? Someone who treats you like a princess? Someone you imagine spending the rest of your life with?
Then he'll stick around as long as you need. Wait till he's committed himself to you before putting out - if he's worth sleeping with, he'll wait till you're ready to get married.

It depends on a few things.
If it is your first time, wait till your in love to "do it".
If you are 37 with 5 kids and need someone to help with the rent, then you should probably bang him like there's no tomorrow.

No one can tell you that. It depends on your moral code. Some people not until marriage, others after the first drink. You've got to figure that out for yourself.
