God is love. People hate because they don't know God.

Don,
As other people have suggested, the Bible paints an image of a not so loving God. Not the kind of love that most of us understand to be love anyways. The Bible is filled with scary accounts of a God that is quite mean when looked at in our perspective.

Yeah. The only love God teaches is "tough" love. Read the old Testament, then read any history of Christianity.

There are many "gods" YHVH teaches Love, (though in the end sinners need to be eliminated for the earth to be made very good again.) Virtually everyone in "churchianity" is worshipping some false "god".

Which god are you talking about? The one I'm familiar with, from the Bible, is a really nasty piece of work. I'd have thought he taught the importance of hate pretty effectively.

we hate one another so much because of our own nature
therefore jesus asked us to love our neighbors and eniemes as ourselves
once u understand things spiritually its so easy to love the people u hate
